Coming Soon!

Here's a list of some great reads coming soon to the YA Collection at Dover Public Library!

1. Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein
"Oct. 11th, 1943—A British spy plane crashes in Nazi-occupied France. Its pilot and passenger are best friends. One of the girls has a chance at survival. The other has lost the game before it's barely begun."
(Amazon)

2. Tessa Masterson Will Go to Prom by Brendan Halpin and Emily Franklin
Lucas and Tessa are best friends, until Lucas asks Tessa to prom and Tessa comes out of the closet instead of accepting him. Controversy ensues when Tessa campaigns to take her crush to prom and wear a tuxedo instead of a gown.

3. The Hunters (Series) by L.J. Smith
The newest Vampire Diaries series will soon be here, starting with the first two books: Phantom and Moonsong. Number three hasn't come out yet, but don't worry, it's on my list!

4. The Serpent's Shadow by Rick Riordan
The Kane Chronicles Book #3
Out today! Eeee! (Rushes off to Barnes and Noble website to buy for Nook.)
The Final book of the Kane Chronicles promises to be a fantastic ride full of magic, Egyptian mythology, and the incredible story telling of Rick Riordan!

5. X-Men: Season One by Dennic Hopeless, Jamie McKelvie, and Mike Norton
"Professor Charles Xavier has recruited five of the most powerful mutants he's ever seen, in order to save a world that hates and fears them. But there's only one problem - they're teenagers ... "
Amazon

6. Masque of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin
Based on the Poe story (What?! You've never read it? Go. Now. Read. Awesome.), this story will make Poe fans proud! A gruesome plague, menacing death... What could make a better summer read?

7. Stunning by Sara Shepherd
Okay, okay, fine. If you're not into vampires, adventure books, comic books, gruesome death and destruction, take a chance with the latest in the Pretty Little Liars series coming out.

There are lots and lots of others coming the way, too! (I just can't see myself writing about them all today... can you? There's like 42 of them. Insane!) So be on the lookout on Facebook and at the library so you don't miss your favorite authors and some fantastic reads!

Have a great week, and I'll (hopefully) see you all on Tuesday at the YA Crew Brain Storm at Dover Public Library!
