The Judge will be a Library Staff Member, and judging will be based on the following:
  • Creativity of the theme (1-5 points)
  • Execution of the theme (1-5 points, Did you just call it Avengers but not follow through?)
  • Decorations  (1-5 points for creativity and filling the space)
  • Menu (1-5 points, for creativity, giving everyone enough to eat)
  • Engaging Activities (1-5 points, would people be bored at your party?)
  • Prizes/Goody Bags (1-5 points, do they go home empty handed?) (Depending on the party, you could also replace this with Thank You Notes. But be sure to include that in your budget.)

YA Crew Meeting - April

Tuesday April 9 at 3:00 PM
It's time for a BRAIN STORM!

This collaborative meeting was such a success last year, that Liz is bringing it back this year! This is your chance to suggest events for the summer and beyond! Tell Liz what worked, what didn't, and what we should totally do again! No idea will be turned down, and everyone will have an opportunity to voice concerns, questions, and suggestions. So bring your friends and your ideas to the YA Crew BRAIN STORM!

The YA Crew is a group of teens who gain leadership experience and community service hours by helping the library  better serve the teen community. Teens interested in joining should contact Teen  Librarian Liz Strauss at 330-343-6123. Snacks are always provided at meetings.

Call Liz at 330-343-6123 with any questions.
